I haven’t been Tumbling lately. Is that what you call it? -Haven’t Tumbled? Haven’t posted to Tumblr?

Anyway, Cindy and I just got back from Derby Dinner Playhouse in Louisville, where - in addition to spending all day picking the brains of all their department heads - we saw a great new show.

“Dixie Swim Club” is about 5 women, formerly teammates on a championship swim team. They meet every year at a beach cottage on the Outer Banks. You see them from their mid forties to the mid seventies.

The play has heart and smarts, and killer dialogue that had the audience screaming with laughter. It reminded me of “Steel Magnolias,” only I think I like this one better.

Look for us to produce it, probably in the 2012 season. We’re pretty excited.
